I think that all dogs are cute. Cuteness doesn't excuse behavior. Social behavior is a learned set of skills.

The dog doesn't understand "Not mine". You need train "not yours unless Mom gives it to you". (Universal leave it)

The easiest way to create a well-behaved dog is to start with a controlled environment, introduce things to it, and not allow unwanted things to happen when you are not present to immediately respond. Ten minutes after it happens the dog hasn't the vaguest idea what to did that it shouldn't have.
